This Privacy Policy explains how Earthlings Institute Inc. (“Earthlings,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you visit earthlings.institute (the “Site”). We are based in British Columbia, Canada.

- Contact & application form: your name, email address, subject, and the contents of your message – including anything you choose to include in it.
- Comments: if you comment on our blog, your display name and either your email address (used only to verify you and to notify you of replies) or your chosen social-login identity, together with the content of your comment.
- Newsletter: your email address, if you choose to subscribe.
- Event tickets: if you buy tickets to a soundbath or event, your order details are handled by our ticketing provider (see Third-Party Services).
Information collected automatically
- Usage & device data: pages you view, referring links, your browser and device type, and your approximate location derived from your IP address.

How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your inquiries and process applications and consultation requests.
- To display and moderate blog comments.

A Note on Health Information
We do not collect medical or health information through this Site. If you proceed toward a retreat, we may collect additional information, including health information relevant to your safety, separately as part of our intake process. That information is collected with its own, separate consent at the time it is requested, and is not governed by this Site policy.

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to run the Site and to understand how it is used. Non-essential (analytics) technologies are used in accordance with your choices, and you can control cookies through your browser settings. Where we record an opt-out of analytics, we store a preference cookie to remember it.
Third-Party Services
We rely on trusted third parties to operate the Site. Each processes data only as needed to provide its service, under its own privacy policy:
- Cloudflare – content delivery, security, and performance.
- Google Analytics – website analytics.
- ImageKit – image delivery.
- Resend – sending email from our forms and comment system.
- ActiveCampaign – newsletter delivery.
- Google reCAPTCHA – spam and bot protection (subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms).
- TicketTailor – event ticketing.
- Google and Facebook – optional one-click sign-in for blog comments, used only if you choose them.
Our blog comments run on Remark42, a comment system we host ourselves. Comment-login email addresses are stored in hashed form. You can ask us to delete your comments and associated data at any time.
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers listed above, when required by law, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.
Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We delete or anonymize it when it is no longer needed.
How We Protect Your Information
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International Visitors & Data Transfers
We are based in Canada, and your information may be processed in Canada and in other countries (including the United States) where our service providers operate. These countries may have data-protection laws different from those in your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
